ToB Contest 2016 - What the Future May Hold

Here's my entry for the Tales of Berseria contest held by

I decided to draw Eizen and Laphicet because I look forward to their stories the most. We already know what kind of fate awaits Eizen in the future, so I'm really curious about how it came to that. As for Laphicet, I can't shake the feeling that he's deeply connected to Maotelus (i.e. I'm quite certain that he IS Maotelus - or will be, one day).

In case you're wondering, the thing in the middle on Eizen's side is the gold coin he's seen holding in his hands in some scenes. Might be important to him (it also looks suspiciously like the cursed Aztec gold from Pirates of the Caribbean). And surrounding the coin is malevolence.
On Laphicet's side I drew the plot important compass. It's upside-down because, y'know, perspectives and all.
